Sports Habitat set itself apart from other sports websites by focusing on the everyday athlete and individual performance, rather than professional sports, statistics and news. To address this departure, our launch video advertising captured the immesurable depth of a true fan’s love of sport.

Before launch, the group was acquired by a competitor. We were, of course, sad to see this campaign suffer the slings and arrows of another dot com merger. Mostly because we felt the work was a creative and accurate representation of how Sports Habitat differed from other sports sites, but also because Mr. October — Reggie Jackson, himself — was part of the client team, and we hadn’t yet had the opportunity to meet him.
