Joe’s Bleachers
Cubs fans are intimately familiar with the Curse of the Goat, waiting ’til next year, and having the greatest ball park in the galaxy. They’re not so familiar with Joe’s Bleachers, though, so as the season approaches, Joe Sez postcards are distributed through Wrigleyville (the 10 block radius around the ball park) bars and restaurants where fans congregate before and after ballgames. Mostly bars…There’s nothing like being able to target your audience.
In 2016, the hapless Cubs finally brought home the hardware, giving Joe a reason to calm down. It appears, however, that year may have been the beginning of another dry spell which should keep Joe squarely in his wait-until-next-year, barb-throwing mood for some time to come.
